The Best Decision-Making Tool

When Sarah Evans spoke at Social Fresh last week, she shared the decision-making filter she uses to determine next steps.

In her work, Evans prioritizes three things; passion, purpose, and integrity.

The rule of three can be seen throughout history. From the Declaration of Independence “life, liberty, and happiness” to┬áSteve Jobs’s announcement about the iPhone, an all-in-one “iPod, phone, and internet device.”

Identifying three priorities allows you to cut through the noise and focus.

Empowering – Is this bold and inspiring?

Feminine – Is this compassionate, empathetic, beautiful?

Forward Motion – Does this help us grow personally or professionally?

What three things guide your life?
